John Odom has been teaching the drums for 14 1/2 years. He is very passionate about helping students of all experience levels learn to play their favorite songs. John specializes in helping complete beginners understand how rhythm works by breaking down the complexities of drumming.

John is very friendly and puts a priority on excellent communication to keep parents updated on how their children are progressing with their lessons. Most important John makes learning the drums both fun and exciting. He can teach all ages and has experience teaching a blind student as well as special needs students. John is an asset to the drumming community and to the musical arts.

Daniel Sojo

Energetic Elementary Music Teacher with 25 years of background in primary education setting. Guided several elementary school choral groups and bands. Strong motivation to share music appreciation, vocal and
entry-level instrumental techniques with students.

Yuting Zhang

Yuting Zhang has been teaching private piano and voice lessons since 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida, where he specialized in vocal music performance with piano being his secondary instrument. Yuting’s voice teaching style focuses on building a solid foundation with classical techniques where the students can then branch off into other more contemporary styles such as pop and musical theatre.

With piano, his style leans more towards virtuoso style playing where students focus more on proper techniques and solo performances. Yuting is currently the music teacher for Ridgewood Park Elementary School in OCPS. He frequently goes to Music Education focused professional developments and conference to further himself as a music teacher. He is a music educator through and through.
